Although the weather is unusually warm, the winter-themed events this week are still on the list. There are gingerbread house decoration parties, festive wine tastings and booze cocoa cocktail hours. Spend a happy hour for the puppies and their people at the beginning of the week and end with a brunch that accompanies the concert.

Happy hour at the Westin Dallas Stonebrier Golf Resort and Spa. This is for dogs. Welcome furry friends and their hosts to the Frisco Hotel and launch the new Canine Menu. Dog-friendly menu items include Scooby Doo stewed jasmine rice, peas, organic carrots and smoked chicken, and smoked salmon bowls. There will also be pet-friendly vendors and giveaways. The event will be held from 4pm to 6pm.

Eataly’s Holiday Wine Festival, in this Christmas-themed drinking and shopping event, taste more than 20 kinds of Italian wines, snacks from the chef’s tasting station and dozens of Italian holiday cakes (Italian holiday cakes). End the night with a toast of bubbly Prosecco. Tickets are $65 per person, sold in two hours, and can be checked in at 5, 6 or 7 pm.

The Honky Tonk Brunch at Lochland's Food and Spirits The Lake Highlands Bar will invite local singer and songwriter Mike Randall to enjoy food and music. Randall will be on the beer garden stage at 1pm, but guests are encouraged to arrive at the table early. Brunch specials include hash and eggs, smoked salmon pancakes and hangover sandwiches, as well as Irish pub favorites such as fish and chips and shepherd’s pie. Brunch is served from 10 am to 3 pm.

The Children's Gingerbread House Workshop at Davio's The Northern Italian Steakhouse in The Colony Grandscape invites children of all ages to join the gingerbread house party. Davio's pastry chef Lena Huynh will lead the seminar with Kellie Rasberry, host of the Kidd Kradick morning show. Children will receive a gingerbread house with all the decorations. Lunch is included in the ticket price. It costs $65 per child and $50 for adults. The seminar will be held from 1pm to 3pm.

The upside-down cocoa of the House of Commons Club is hosting a hot cocoa party in the trendy bar on the ground floor of the Las Virgin Hotel. Guests will get a luxurious cocoa cocktail and a variety of sweet and savoury layered snacks. The price is US$50 per person, and the activity time is 3:30-5 pm.

Glenn Boswell, a certified wine sommelier at the WineShark Winter Wine Special of Reunion Tower, hosted an entertaining and educational evening about wines suitable for winter and holiday parties. At the high altitude of Reunion Tower Geo-Deck, guests will learn how to taste wine and taste some excellent varieties, as well as food samples that match them. The event is held from 5 to 7 pm.
